First off, let us give a prayer for Japan. As you should know, Japan was hit by a 8.9 magnitude earthquake and a devastating tsunami that hit afterward causing much damage to Japan’s towns and cities. One nuclear plant is in critical danger of releasing nuclear radiation, and the death toll continues to rise. My family in Taiwan, near Japan, are all okay but some of my friends’ families in Japan appear to be in trouble or have been unable to make contact. I was unable to give my condolences in a post, since it happened the day before I left for Costa Rica and I didn’t have time to blog about this terrible natural disaster. A different issue related to blogging: I am currently thinking of getting my own hosted website, since I find WordPress.com to be very limited after trying it out. WordPress.com is a very good site to get started on, but I’ve been finding myself wanting to do so much more with my blog. In the next month, I will probably start reading up on getting a hosted website and might migrate. For now, I’ll stay here and continue to blog whenever I can.
